About me:

Dr. Amir Faham is highly qualified general practitioner and medical acupuncturist who has specialist registration with Australian health regulation agency (AHPRA).

With his interest in a holistic approach to medicine he continued his study in general practice in Australia and gained his fellowship of general practice in 2016 from the Royal Australian college of General Practitioners.

He found Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture to be a very well-known and evidence-based field of alternate wholistic medicine. He completed his Diploma in acupuncture from Australian medical Acupuncture college (AMAC) in 2019 and successfully gained his fellowship of medical acupuncture from the same college in 2022. It means Dr Amir has spent 3 extra years of training to learn medical acupuncture.

Dr Amir is a committed GP with experience in a wide range of areas, additionally, he has special interests in medical acupuncture, skin check and skin cancer surgery, chronic diseases, chronic pain, musculoskeletal medicine, weight management and mental health.

Patients highly regard Dr Amir for his approachable and caring nature. He is thorough, compassionate and takes time to explain matters clearly, which is a source of great comfort. Patients value Dr Amir’s medical expertise, individualised personable treatment and the emotional support he provides them.
